A Colourful London Flat
This colourful apartment designed by Studio Peake features an on-trend blue kitchen, stylish home bar, gorgeous scalloped headboards and some slick joinery
PROPERTY
A one bedroom London flat and modern home with a study, living room, kitchen and outdoor terrace, all designed by Studio Peake.
KITCHEN
The on-trend blue kitchen opens out to a stylish outdoor terrace via chic Crittall-style doors. A marble splash back behind the hob complements the marble-topped kitchen island, while the industrial-inspired brass kitchen taps add to an overall cool, on-trend look. The kitchen island pendants are kept simple, sculptural and white.
Against the Crittall extension is a home bar area.
STUDY
A multi-functional home office doubles up as a stylish linen room with built-in storage. The bespoke built-in cupboards also feature bookshelves for displaying the owners' book collection.
The upholstered pinboard-come-artwork is made bespoke by Studio Peake.
Behind the desk is stylish built-in storage designed by Studio Peake, perfect for storing fabric collections and bed linen. The window looks out onto the courtyard garden and the living room at the other side.
LIVING ROOM
In the living room, painted lights from IKEA act as downlighters, illuminating the bookshelves that frame the TV. The corner sofa creates a cosy nook, while a throw was framed and mounted on the wall to create a striking focal point.
The exposed brick wall was painted in several coats of white to create a sense of calm, while keeping the brick's textural appearance.A small curation of artworks on the left are aranged in gallery wall format, but are spread out to avoid the wall looking cluttered.
MASTER BEDROOM
Joinery in the master bedroom is created in the same style as in the study and the kitchen, with pre-grooved MDF boards. The top of the built-in wardrobes offers space for displaying personal collections.
A rattan dressing table in the bay window creates a calm space to get ready in the mornings.
The headboard was made bespoke.
BATHROOM
Gorgeous gloss tiles and a large marble vanity help to create a polished look, while the lampshades and vase of flowers add a pop of necessary colour.
