Tour A Colourful Victorian Terraced House In Crouch End
Designer Caroline Cobbold used a bold colour palette, bespoke and high end lighting and a fusion of vintage and modern furniture to help transform a series of bedsits into one modern, spacious home.
PROPERTY
A three storey Victorian terraced house that had been converted in the 1970’s into many bedsits. The entire house needed gutting to create a modern home, and along with Hugh Cullum Architects Ltd, designer Caroline Cobbold reconfigured the interior into a beautiful four bedroom family home with stunning views over Alexandra Palace.

FAMILY ROOM
Caroline Cobbold worked closely with the home owners and Hugh Cullum Architects Ltd to create a fun, modern and practical family home. Renovated from multiple bedsits from the 1970's, this house was a true transformation which consisted of re-imagining room size and creating more space and light throughout. This was a three storey Victorian residential which comprised of completely gutting the original interior, restructuring the inside and adding a full refurbishment.
For the interiors, Caroline Cobbold used a bold colour palette and included a fusion of vintage and modern furniture, coupled with bespoke and high end lighting.

KITCHEN
The kitchen at the back of the house was extended into an open plan diner/sitting room, built around the original fire place.
A bespoke, hand-made kitchen with a Basaltina worktop was made and installed. The single shelf above the units incorporated the extraction. The banquette overlooking the garden also provides extra storage below.

LIVING ROOM
Aside from the more relaxed family room at the back of the house, there's a living room too at the front of the house.

GUEST BEDROOM
The guest bedroom features soft carpeting, an upholstered curved headboard and a calming palette with subtle pistachio walls.
A navy lacquered bedside table and accent cushions in mustard and navy punch it up.

MASTER BEDROOM
Caroline Cobbold added a top floor open plan master bedroom/bathroom with a glass attic extension and large picture windows over looking Alexandra Palace and beyond. The views are stunning.
Sleek, handleless wardrobe doors keep things simple and clean.

MASTER BATHROOM
A countertop basin and floating vanity add to the modern look of this grey bathroom.
Brass lighting, fixtures and fittings add warmth and a dose of modern glamour.
