The 5 most beautifully designed restaurants you can visit in London this week
Celebrate the newfound roaring twenties by dining in the most stylish settings in the city
The time has come. It's time to dust down the outfits we've been planning for months (guilty as charged) and toast the rebirth of the contemporary jazz age amongst the most glorious settings in the country. Your tastebuds and your Instagram will thank you.
So, to help you narrow down the chicest hangouts in London Town, we've rounded five restaurants with celebratory worthy interiors – because the decor is just as important as the menu, in our case, at least.
1. Bourne & Hollingsworth
Located just off Exmouth Market, Bourne & Hollingsworth is as much as a greenhouse as it is a restaurant – so of course – it's a winning combination for us. The botanic-filled kingdom is a luscious sanctuary, oozing with an array of greenery, artworks, and lots of cocktails.
Plus, it is a name to remember when restrictions ease even further, as the property features a secret underground drinking and dancing den. Dancing in a room surrounded by house plants and flowers? Heaven is a place on earth, and it's concealed in a corner in Islington.
2. Bob Bob Ricard
We said we'd welcome back the roaring 20's – and there is perhaps no more fitting destination to do this than Bob Bob Ricard. Just moments into this Russian-inspired jewel transports you from the streets of Soho to a vintage railway carriage in continental Europe.
This luxe restaurant offers a Modern British menu in an unrivaled art deco setting, and even the staff dress up for the occasion. If Agatha Christie were to from lockdown, you would undoubtedly find her celebrating here.
3. Hide
The aptly-named Hide is the hidden jewel of the list. Nestled on the fringe of Green Park, this minimalist haven stretches across three floors – all of which showcase a refined ambiance through their exquisite light fixtures and neutral color palette.
Hide's curated decor is inherently sophisticated – making it the most effortlessly perfect setting to enjoy its seasonal menus. It's everything we love about London's culinary scene, under one roof.
4. Sketch

What would a list of London's most beautiful interiors be without sketch? Mayfair's pastel-pink paradise has gained a global reputation for its blushing interiors, and we can certainly understand why. As a word of warning, though, it will be hard to focus on your reunion whilst sitting inside this interior design lover's utopia.
5. Annabel's
Created by esteemed designer Martin Brudnizki, Annabel's restaurants are feasts for all the senses. Located in one of five Birley Clubs, you can indulge in this maximalist-designed dream if you are a member or a member of a guest.
Plus, to celebrate the reopening of all areas of the Club, Annabel’s will be creating an immersive art experience celebrating the most iconic works of symbolist painter Gustav Klimt.
So, we recommend choosing your friends wisely – a Spritz in The Elephant Room depends on it.
