First Look: Soho Home x The Ned Debut Collection

Good news for those looking to recreate the signature sumptuous look of The Ned in their own home, Soho Home has unveiled a stunning new range inspired by the history and design of the heritage building.

The Ned Collection not only features pieces seen in the London hotspot - like the Insta-famous pink sofas in Millie's Lounge - it has also been inspired by one-off vintage gems.

Hero products include the aforementioned blush velvet sofa with pleat and button detailing on the back, £3995, a bed with a William Morris pattern headboard cushion,£1695, and Burleigh Hibiscus china, from £11

The Ned, a joint venture between Soho House and Sydell hotel group, is set in the historic Midland Bank building near St Paul's, and originallydesigned by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924 – after whom the hotel is named. The vast space includes ten restaurants, 250 bedrooms channelling 1920s and 1930s design and a private members' club.

The Ned's layered and lush aesthetic is thanks toSoho Home designer Adam Greco. He and his team spent four years immersed in the history of the building and its architect to create The Ned's furnishings.“The faded glamour of a 1930s transatlantic ocean liner was the starting point for the interior design of The Ned,” Greco says.“We trawled the bank’s archives to find out what the building looked like in its 1930s heyday and we were inspired by the great ships of that era, including the Normandie, and the Orient Express.”

The full Soho Home x The Ned collection will be available to buy at Sohohome.com from April 24.
