Luxury Italian furniture maker Porada is 70 this year and is celebrating by bringing back to market three iconic designs from the 1970s; theTondo table and Tony and Trittico side tables.
The new designs strutted their stuff atSalone del Mobile in April, each with a cool new look.
The Tondo tablehas a base made of four C’s that lean together, with the round glass top laying freely on the base.
There's also a large rectangular dining table version that's spread across two bases.
Using two bases in this way makes room for various top shapes, from oval to rectangular ones.
A shiny lacquered coat gives the frame a glossy, plastic finish, while the ash-stained finish highlights the woodwork.
Meanwhile, the stackable triangular Tony and round Trittico side tables have been given a pop of colour with colouredglass tops, while new finishes for the ash wood also help update the design icons with a more contemporary aesthetic.
Each of the new designs has been given a brass badge detail to celebrate the milestone birthday.
Turning 70 has never looked so good.
