FREE DESIGN ADVICE FROM TOP LONDON ARCHITECTS
Planning a building project but don't know where to start? For the chance to discuss ideas for a potential project without splashing any cash, sign up for a free Design Surgery from New London Architecture.
Following its recent2019 Don’t Move, Improve! competition,the winning and shortlisted architecture practiceswill be on hand to consult with homeowners at a series of free NLA Design Surgeries – with the first taking placeat the New London Architecture Galleries, Fitzrovia, London, on Saturday 2 March from 10am until 4pm.
Whether you'd like advice about a sustainable renovation, budgets or have queries about party walls and technical information, there will be a wealth of information on offer.
Book 25 minute one-to-one consultations with a range of experts, including shortlisted and winning architects from this year’s Don’t Move, Improve! competition, as well as other industry professionals including interior designers, engineers, surveyors, party wall surveyors and landscape architects.
Bring information, drawings and ideas about your potential project to the appointments, and receive free advice and information.
The Design Surgery programme will also include two 45-minute talks focused on ‘How to extend your home’ and ‘Think like an architect’, with speakers including Archmongers, con | form, Home Notes, Hardman Structural Engineers and Arboreal Architecture amongst others.
NLA have also made sure that any little ones in tow will be catered for with child-friendly walking tours of the architecturally-rich Bloomsbury district taking place throughout the day, and interactive workshops where children can become ‘architects’ and design their ideal home.
Places are limited so booking via the website is advised. Anyone taking part will have to complete a new booking for each consultation, talk and family tour.
