Stunning new wallpapers from Farrow & Ball
Farrow & Ball'slatest wallpaper collection puts a dramatic and decidedly contemporary spin on its mostpopular patterns.
The much-loved damask, floral and striped prints have been given a new lease of life – just in time for spring 2018.
The Lotus, Wisteria and Block Print Stripe patterns have all been reimagined invivid hues. The new collection taps into the trend for maximalist pattern and bold colour pairings – with dashes of modern metallics adding drama.
WISTERIA
Turning conventional florals on their head, a seemingly traditional Wisteria print embodies the romance and whimsy of the classic English floral but metallic accents makes it instantly relevant.
The blue and copper colour pairing wouldn’t be out of place in Anna Karenina’s parlour. The softer and more poetic soft blue and green version epitomises an English garden in the spring. Each colourway highlights atrailing design of tumbling blossoming flowers.
Updating a bedroom with a heavily patterned floral print like this adds instant sophistication. Themetallic accents bring it up to date and give a dash of glamour, causing it to glimmer in changing light.
LOTUS
Blown-up lotus flowers take on a theatrical twistwith punchy and powerful colour combinations.
The bold design could bring a tired dining room back up-to-date or infuse a study, snug or cosy reading nook with gentleman's club allure.
Not for the faint hearted, the deep plum tones and moody black backdrop of the Off-Black and Brinjal combo (above) wouldpunch drama – and sophistication – into a dining space or help give acosy and cocooning study or snug a contemporary twist.
Prefer something more upbeat? The funky organic print also comes in a brighter, cheerier green colour way.
BLOCK STRIPE
Loved for its timeless appeal and basic elegance, Farrow & Ball's Block Print Stripe has been reworked in a variation of striking greens, light greys, and yellows.
Hang it horizontally, vertically or flip the drops to create bolder double-width stripes. Striking in a hallway or cloakroom.
