Take a sneak peek at Diet Prada's exclusive range of neon lights with Yellowpop
The makers of the coolest neon lights in town launch their collab with the cult fashion commentators - and we're obsessed
We love a juicy collaboration - and few things are as enticing as when fashion and homewares come together.
The iconic neon lighting decor brand, have revealed their first collab of 2021 - the Yellowpop X Diet Prada collection. Made up of six designs, this exclusive range is made up of fashion vernacular phrases including ‘J’Adore’ and ‘Prada or Nada’.
Conceived, developed and released in lockdown, Yellowpop and Diet Prada partnered to commission different creatives in five different cities to shoot the collection.
The locations - London, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Milan - were chosen due to their importance in the world of fashion. The resulting photographs act as a cool, modern interpretation of a postcard from Diet Prada to the world, even as travel is restricted.
‘Before the pandemic, travelling had become a huge part of our lives and we’ve been lucky enough to see the most amazing fashion shows from New York to Paris,’ says Diet Prada. ‘Given the current climate, we’ve all been spending more time at home and wanted to create something to bring that spirit inside.’

Although this isn’t the first collaboration Yellowpop has embarked upon, the brand was especially excited about this range.
‘Fashion has always been a big fascination and inspiration of ours,’ says the lighting brand’s co-founder, Jeremy Cortial. ‘We believe there is something for everyone in this collection which is very much aligned with our vision to always put a smile on people’s faces.’
‘Our collab is inspired by the thrill of fashion week and the banter that goes on amongst the style-obsessed fashion set,’ adds Diet Prada. ‘Plus... neon makes every space look cooler.’
Called “Fashion’s most powerful critic” by the Financial Times, Diet Prada is devoted to shifting the fashion conversation one investigative post at a time. The commentators now follow in the footsteps of recent Yellowpop collaborators, such as Swedish-French graffiti artist, André Saraiva, and New York tattoo artist, Girl Knew York.
‘We have a lot of respect for Diet Prada and admire their boldness in calling attention to what matters and challenging originality and diversity to preserve its high regard – a message that we stand behind and promote with our one-of-a-kind neon designs,’ says Jeremy.
That said, the fun and tongue-in-cheek nature of the neon still remains firmly front and center. ‘Our core values are to always bring bold and original designs to our customers and this collection was designed to add an element of fun to people’s homes,’ says Jeremy Cortial.
We think they’ve nailed it.
