Wreath making: 'tis the season to get creative
Book onto a virtual wreath making class this year - mulled wine and Christmas jumpers optional
Why not book onto a virtual wreath making class and make your own Christmas wreath this year?
With the news that people are preparing for Christmas a little earlier than usual, it seems we're all looking for a little festive cheer.
Trees, baubles and booze are flying off the virtual shelves and it's a good chance to make the most of the one thing we all have a little more of this year; time.
2020 may be the year that dried flowers had their moment in the spotlight, but at Christmas it's all about fresh and fragrant foliage.
If you're usual M.O is a frenzied rush of retail madness despite good intentions, check out these virtual classes from two of the capital's favourite florists and flex your green fingers with some creative wreath making this year.
BOTANICAL BOYS X WARDIAN
Setting up shop at Wardian London's latest Canary Wharf development, The Botanical Boys - are hosting online wreath making classes twice in December.
It's a fun and festive way to stay digitally connected with friends and family this Christmas season and make a gorgeous decoration to take pride of place on your front door.
Taking place on Tuesday 01 December and Tuesday 15 December at 6:30pm, both workshops are for up to 30 guests via Zoom.
The wreath making workshops are £87 per person, (including UK postage) and the kits will be sent out in advance.
Each kit will include seasonal mosses, delicate English-grown dried fruit, 30m wired wreath base, a reel of wire, pine cuttings and stud wired (kits need to be bought a minimum of 5 days before the class date to allow for courier delivery).
There's also a chance of winning A Wardian London Wreath Making workshop for 2. Follow @botanicalboys and look out for the ‘swipe up’ story on Thursday 19 November to enter.
On Friday 27 November, the winner will be announced, and they will receive a complimentary kit and tickets for two for the 15 December workshop.
