'I sleep better under Nordstrom bedding.' - Our editor's top picks to dress your bed from the Fall sale
The Nordstrom Fall sale features a vast selection of incredible home decor and goods on sale - including our editor's favorite bedding
Nordstrom is my very favorite place to buy bedding. It features brands like DKNY, Sijo and Blacksaw, all of which are varied but never fail to be utterly wonderful to sleep under.
Sijo is perfect for warm sleepers like me who need a bit of help with cooling. Blacksaw is cozy - I like to use its blankets when I watch TV or if I'm writing at my desk. And DKNY's cotton has the lightweight feel of the linen you might have at a beach house - it evokes the spirit of sunny Saturday mornings whatever the weather and whatever the day of the week.
But! Despite Nordstrom having the best bedding sets I would be the first to admit it's not super affordable. I was given my DKNY set as a wedding gift. It's worth the price - honestly, I sleep better under it than under anything else - but the quality comes with a pretty hefty tag. So I was very happy to spot it marked down as part of Nordstrom's bedding sale, hovering at around $50 off its regular cost.
In fact, the Nordstrom sale is strong generally - you'll also find my favorite Jo Malone London home fragrance - but it's the bedding I think is worth shouting about. Quite literally, the dream.

The best deal in the Nordstrom bedding sale
Here it is, that DKNY bedding I was talking about. You can tell from the picture how it feels, can't you? That plump duvet encased in lightweight cotton, the sort that doesn't need ironing and gets better with every wash. I am not someone who has the skills or time to iron hospital corners into my bedding, one of the many reasons why I love this particular set. It doesn't need you to.
This duvet cover is currently on sale, starting at $99 instead of starting at $145, and I think it could be the deal you'll love most for longest.
You can shop this DKNY duvet cover in all its sizes here.

I really love sleeping under any sheets made from Tencel® - they're super-breathable, really cool in the summer and warming in the winter. Some kind of magic.

This is a real investment, but it's made from alpaca yarn which you are guaranteed to find very stroke-able. I see this becoming not just your favorite bed blanket, but your favorite desk blanket too, keeping you warm while you work.
Sale price $71.25 (25% off)
I am spending most of this winter making my bed seem like somewhere I can hibernate - and that involves a lot of pillows. I like the texture of this one, and the soft but graphic colors.
Sale price: $48.75 (25% off)
Think of this as your summerweight blanket, a way to layer your bed when it's actually too hot to sleep under the covers. You can use this is a very light quilt, instead.
Sale price: $32.90 (30% off)
I've been vaguely collecting the designs of Finnish heritage brand Marimekko for years - I have mostly dish towels and over mitts - and I adore how sunny and fun its prints are. Case in point, this pillow cover.
Price: $75.75 (25% off)
As every stylist knows, the best ceramics and the best weaves are both made in Portugal. They just know how to get them both right over there. So you just know that this Portuguese-made throw is good quality - luxe, even.
