Livingetc Style Awards 2023 winners: Tech category
The winners of the Tech category of Livingetc's Style Awards 2023 are announced
As chosen by our judges, a panel made up of Livingetc’s senior editorial team. Global brand director Sarah Spiteri, Global editor in chief Pip Rich, deputy editor (digital) Hugh Metcalf and deputy editor (print) Ellen Finch sifted through all the many, many entries.
BEST IN AUDIO - winner: Beosound A9 by Bang & Olufsen
Standing on genuine oak legs and ringed with sleek aluminium, Bang & Olufsen’s design-led speaker has proven popular since its launch in 2012. The 5th generation is future proofed with the brand’s Mozart software, but boasts the same polish that made its earlier versions so well-loved.
‘It’s the details that make this speaker such a beautiful piece in its own right – like sliding your finger across its surface to increase the volume,’ says Pip Rich.

thanks to its concrete aesthetic, made using a highly durable, hygienic and recyclable material called Syno-Stone.
‘It’s great to see tech embracing more sustainable ways of creating new products – and when they look this good, it’s easy to get on board with,’ says Hugh Metcalf.
