Ever wanted Jenna Lyons to design your home? This is how it’s possible
Jenna Lyons is offering interior design consultations via The Expert – here is how to book your slot before they sell out
Jenna Lyons may have shaped your wardrobe – but now she’s here to makeover your home too. The former creative director and president for J.Crew is synonymous with painfully fashionable interiors that fill her SoHo loft – so of course, we are very excited about her latest venture.
In the most exciting announcement of the year so far, Jenna Lyons revealed she has joined The Expert – a new interior design service offering 1:1 consultations with the world’s most reputable designers.
This means you can book a time slot with Jenna, who will tour your room via video call – and reshape your modern home decor ideas in the process.
In an Instagram post, Jenna confirmed her involvement with the brand before offering further insight into how it works. ‘You can book a time – 55 minutes or more, depending on how much you want to talk to me,’ she says. ‘We set up a Zoom, you can show me your space, we can talk about all of your hopes and dreams and desires.’
During the consultation, you can tour your room virtually, create a photographic presentation, screen share, or just have a chat – there are no rules in how you should spend your time.
Whether you’re looking for modern living room ideas – or crave Jenna’s influence around your entire home (who wouldn’t), she can help with ‘whatever is on your wishlist.’ The Expert also shares that Jenna is the go-to for ‘furniture and home decor design selection and placement’ and the top brands and labels to consider.
Jenna can also offer comments on paint and wall treatments and exterior design – because the only thing better than a home designed by Jenna Lyons is a home and a garden that exhibits her expertise.
The Expert platform is perhaps only a natural step for Jenna who continues to work on several interiors-based projects, including a boutique hotel in the Bahamas. She’s also the powerhouse behind this smart IKEA cabinet hack in her beach house kitchen.
Founder of The Expert, Leo Seigal explains the site is a space that connects interior enthusiasts with professionals, such as Jenna, by ‘eliminating traditional barriers such as project budget, location, and scope constraints’. Instead, the most celebrated figures in the industry are more accessible.
In an interview, Leo adds that the site allows homeowners to stop ‘endlessly poring over an inspiration image or idea, and instead go directly to the source for answers, guidance and feedback that are tailored to their needs.' What more can we say, but you’re in very safe hands.
