Frank Sinatra's Californian desert retreat is on the market- tour this wild western property
This cactus-kissed cabin is an artistic shrine amid Palm Desert in the Golden State
Frank Sinatra's arty home decor paradise, which served as a base for the Rat Pack, is on the market for $4.25 million.
Villa Maggio, named after Sinatra's 1954 Award-winning Academy role as Private Angelo Maggio, became an almost-secret haven for Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack friends, with whom the singer sought asylum in his rustic desert kingdom.
The late icon's former hideaway was built in the late 1960s before Mr. Sinatra purchased the property as a sanctuary that would allow him to escape his demanding lifestyle whilst remaining a short hop away from the allure of Las Vegas.

Designed by architect Ross Patton, the 10-acre compound of three buildings, is an architectural shrine to the Wild West- constructed from earthly woods and local stone, while the interiors are equally Californian.
Among these grounds is a swimming pool and pool house, two saunas, a tennis court, and private guest quarters, with its own bedrooms.
While many may say the crowning feature of the property is its view, we would argue that the best feature is, without a doubt, the outdoor dance floor. It is perfect for throwing a moon-lit party in the same desert that plays host to Coachella.
We also never quite realized how much we wanted and needed an outdoor dance floor until now.
The land also comes with a private helipad, just in case you look for that sort of thing in a home.
Beyond Villa Maggio's large black wooden door are five bedrooms, six bathrooms, two kitchens, and a living and dining area that celebrates the home's decor and confident color scheme. The main house also has a deck, where you can unwind with a view over the Californian mountains and vast wilderness.
Notably, this hideaway was previously for sale in 2014, when it was listed for $3.95 million. Cristie St. James and Markus Canter of Berkshire Hathaway, Beverly Hills, are currently selling the property for $4.25 million, signifying the value of land in Palm Desert is increasing with the area's ever-growing popularity among celebrities including Gigi and Bella Hadid and The Weeknd.
