The best celebrity homes on the market
These are the five A-lister-approved homes that design lovers need to know about right now. Plus, you can check back next month for an updated Real Estate list.
1. Camila Cabello house – $3.95 million
Singer Camila Cabello has just listed her Mediterranean revival hangout above the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. The 6,300-square-foot home pays tribute to quintessential Spanish design with its Azulejo-style tiles and an ornate balcony that overlooks the saltwater pool.
The property also features an open-plan living room that is filled with boldly-hued textiles, artworks, and pampas grass that bring the timeless property firmly into the contemporary day.
There is also a courtyard for year-round al-fresco dinner parties because this is Los Angeles, after all.
Denise Rosner of Compass currently holds the $3.95 million listing.
2. Eva Chow's house – $65 million
Fashion Designer Eva Chow is known as the 'Culture Queen of Los Angeles', so it is only fitting that her SoCal home is equally regent. The prestigious Holmby Hills home features museum-quality exhibition spaces that were modeled from Madrid's Reina Sofia museum – so artworks can enjoy an abundance of natural light in a dramatic setting.
These European features are similarly showcased through the home's hallway ideas, where guests are greeted by Renaissance Florentine carved ceilings and 400 Moorish columns for a first impression that sets the tone for the rest of the home.
Alongside its museum-inspired features, the estate is home to an Art Deco library that is known as 'The Finest Room in LA' by those who admire its artistic temple qualities.
The property is for sale with Timer Fridman of Compass, who holds the $65 million listing.
3. Leonardo DiCaprio's House – $5.5 million
Amongst Leonardo DiCaprio's extensive property portfolio is his current listing in Los Feliz, Hollywood. However, this property is no stranger to the stars, as The Great Gatsby actor purchased the home from musician Moby three years ago. But what makes the home so attractive?
While this English-style home comes complete with French doors traditional high ceilings, it similarly pays homage to modern decorating ideas with its neutral-toned color scheme and minimalist furnishings. This brings a hint of Scandinavian cool to the Santa Monica Mountains.
The home also features a breakfast room with a floral centerpiece that is surely Athena Calderone-approved.
Hilton & Hyland currently holds the $5.5 million listing.
4. Max Azira's House – $85 million
With a price tag of $85 million, fashion designer Max Azira's home is amongst the most prestigious in California for more reasons than one. Alongside its owner, the estate is celebrated as the most significant original creation of architect Paul Williams – which spans over 60 rooms in total.
Plus, alongside its famous exteriors, the interiors are equally noteworthy. The designer installed a host of opulent features, including a floor-to-ceiling Swarovski chandelier and a metallic leaf feature that drapes over the living room ceiling.
Meanwhile, the garden includes a Japanese Garden and a French courtyard that is reminiscent of the European fashion capital.
The home is currently for sale with Partridge Estates Group for $85 million.
5. Beyonce's Tiffany advert House – $42 million
While Beyonce does not own the Santa Monica mountain retreat from her recent Tiffany campaign, the home is no less associated with the singer. The home, which was designed by architect Zoltan Pali (whose other projects include The Getty Villa), is already a Livingetc favorite, and all for a good reason.
The home is a trove of contemporary living room ideas, from its stylish open shelving system to its beige scheme that acts as a backdrop for the jewelry advert.
You can follow Beyonce's lead and take over the home for $42 million, courtesy of The Agency. Tiffany & Co goods (sadly) not included.
